Black LGBT(Q)+ Caucus Leader

Darius Hoover (he/him) is a proud leader of the Black LGBT(Q)+ Caucus at Lighthouse Foundation. Born and raised in East Garfield Park, Chicago, Darius has been actively involved with Lighthouse Foundation since 2022. With a background in event planning, he has successfully conceptualized some of the organization's largest events, contributing significantly to its growth and mission. Darius is passionate about creating authentic Chicago experiences for all attendees. Outside of work, he enjoys anime and is a plant owner. His favorite mantra is, "Say it with your chest."
