• Andrea Lloyd

    Andrea Lloyd is a student at Loyola University Chicago majoring in psychology with minors in criminology and social work. She is deeply passionate about the mental health field and is committed to increasing representation for Black queer individuals within psychology and community-based care, which is what drew her to the Lighthouse Foundation. Andrea is excited to be part of a community whose central goal is to help Black queer individuals thrive through education and support.

    Her long-term goal is to open her own therapy practice and contribute to research that informs more ethical and morally grounded approaches to policing, helping spark meaningful reform. She hopes to combine clinical work, advocacy, and research to create lasting change. Andrea is excited to be working with the Lighthouse Foundation and looks forward to contributing to its work while helping amplify a message of care, empowerment, and representation.Description goes here
